Easter Umrah Packages

Easter moves each year. Easter Sunday is 5 April 2026 and 28 March 2027, with Good Friday and Easter Monday as bank holidays either side. Most UK schools take a two-week break around these dates — roughly the end of March into mid-April 2026, and late March into early April 2027 (exact dates vary by local authority and school). A 7 or 10-night package fits neatly inside the fortnight, so check your school's term dates and we will match a departure to them.

Because Ramadan currently ends in mid-March, the Easter holidays fall just after it in both 2026 and 2027 — so an Easter Umrah is a post-Ramadan trip, with the spiritual peak and the highest prices already passed. This makes Easter calmer and better value than a Ramadan departure, while still in pleasant spring weather. Easter falls in spring, the last mild stretch before summer. Daytime temperatures in Makkah average 30-37°C (86-99°F), and Madinah is a little cooler, with comfortable evenings. Pack light, breathable clothing for warm days and a light layer for cool evenings, plus comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, sun hats and refillable water bottles — especially for children. Your Ihram, modest clothing and any medication complete the list.

Easter's mild spring weather is ideal for guided Ziyarat — the tours of historical Islamic sites — and comfortable for families with children. Every Easter package includes guided Ziyarat in both holy cities. Around Makkah you visit Jabal al-Nour (the Cave of Hira), the Cave of Thawr, Jabal Arafat and Mina; a day trip to Taif is pleasant in spring. In Madinah the tour covers Masjid Quba (the first mosque in Islam), Masjid al-Qiblatain, Mount Uhud and Jannat al-Baqi.
