June Umrah Packages
June Umrah packages are Umrah trips from the UK in the first weeks of the new season, when Umrah reopens after Hajj: flights, hotels in Makkah and Madinah and transfers in one ATOL-protected price. With schools in England and Wales still in session, an Economy week costs from £500 per adult with four sharing; plan for the heat and for the reopening date, which is not yet announced (our estimate is early June 2027).
THE NEW SEASON
When Does Umrah Reopen After Hajj 2027?
No date has been announced yet for Umrah to reopen after Hajj 2027; our estimate is early June 2027. The 2026 season opened on 31 May 2026, which was 14 Dhul Hijjah; the same Hijri date falls on 20 May in 2027, so Umrah may reopen in late May, but we plan from early June to stay on the safe side until the date is published. The reopening falls close to the Islamic New Year, with Muharram 1449 expected to begin around 6 June, so a June Umrah opens the new Hijri year.
The Saudi visa cost is included in your Umrah package price. We do not sell visas separately, and visa approval is decided by the Saudi authorities; Saudi entry for Umrah explains the requirements for your passport.

How Hot Is Makkah in June?
At its hottest: Makkah averages 44°C by day and 29°C at night in June, and Madinah 43°C and 29°C. Perform Umrah after Isha or before Fajr, rest in the hotel through the afternoon, and keep drinking water. For young children and elderly parents, a hotel close to the mosque matters more in June than in any other month, and wheelchair-accessible transfers can be requested on every tier.

June is term time in England and Wales, so the year-round prices apply: an Economy week from £500 per adult with four sharing, and nine 3 Star nights from £570. A 4 Star week starts at £580 and a 5 Star week at £835, and a land package for five nights without flights from £350, if you book your own flights.

What Does a June Umrah Cost a Family of Four?
£2,160 in total for nine 3 Star nights, with both parents paying £570 and each child aged 2 to 11 £510, all four in one room. English and Welsh schools are still in term in June, but Scottish schools break up in late June, which makes the end of the month the first summer window for families from Scotland. Can You Combine June and July in One Umrah?
Yes. A fortnight that leaves in late June and returns in early July suits Scottish families and anyone with leave across the two months; fourteen Economy nights start at £640 per adult with four sharing. Should You Go in June or Wait Until September?
Go in June if you want the new season's first weeks at term-time prices and can manage the heat; wait for September if you want the same prices with afternoons a little cooler. GETTING THERE
Which Airlines Fly Direct to Jeddah or Madinah in June?
Saudia is the only airline flying direct from the UK, to Jeddah, from Heathrow, Gatwick and Manchester, and from Birmingham on selected dates; there is no direct flight to Madinah, and every other UK airport connects through a hub. Transfers in Saudi Arabia are by road, a shared shuttle or coach on Economy and 3 Star and private cars on higher tiers. Road transfers are included; the Haramain high-speed train between Makkah and Madinah can be quoted as an upgrade.

Do June Packages Include Ziyarat and a Guide?
Ziyarat is included from the 10-night 4 Star package upwards and can be added to the rest; guidance runs from an e-guide on Economy to a scholar on 5 Star. £50 per person holds your booking and is part of the price; 50% of the price is due within 24 hours, and the balance 20 days before departure. Every package with flights is protected by ATOL 74904. Is June a good month for Umrah?
Yes, once Umrah reopens: term-time prices and the first weeks of the new season, as long as you plan around the heat.
In which month is Umrah not allowed?
Around Hajj. In 2027 the last day to enter is 23 March and pilgrims leave by 7 April; no reopening date has been announced yet, and our estimate is early June, which would make June the first month of the new season.
Is Madinah cooler than Makkah in June?
Only just: about 43°C by day against 44°C, with nights near 29°C in both cities.
Is June cheaper than July for Umrah?
Usually. June is term time at year-round prices, while July's summer-holiday dates are priced for your dates.

Is the ACWY vaccine included in the package price?
