March Umrah packages are Umrah trips from the UK at the end of the Umrah year: the last ten nights of Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr, and the short weeks after Eid before the last day to enter, 23 March 2027. Each includes flights, hotels and transfers in one ATOL-protected price. Our last-ten-nights packages start at £1,585 per adult with four sharing, and after Eid the year-round packages return, such as twelve 5 Star nights with all meals from £1,050.

Will Umrah Be Open in March 2027?
Yes, for most of the month: March opens with the last nights of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr, and after Eid you can still arrive until 23 March 2027, the last day to enter for Umrah before the Hajj season. That makes March the last month of the Umrah year, and the dates matter more than in any other month.
The Saudi visa cost is included in your Umrah package price. We do not sell visas separately, and visa approval is decided by the Saudi authorities; our Saudi entry guide for Umrah explains the requirements for your passport.

When Does Umrah Close Before Hajj 2027?
Saudi Arabia's published calendar for the 1448 Umrah season makes 23 March 2027 the last day to enter for Umrah and 7 April 2027 the last day to leave. These are published dates, not estimates: they come from Saudi Arabia's published Umrah calendar for 1448, announced on 17 May 2026, and we check every booking against them. No date has been announced yet for Umrah to reopen after Hajj 2027; our estimate is early June 2027.
In practice, a trip after Eid must be booked before the pre-Hajj cut-off (our travel requirements guide gives the dates), must land by 23 March, and must fly home by 7 April.

How Hot Is Makkah in March?
Warming up: Makkah reaches about 35°C in the afternoon and 22°C at night in March, and Madinah 31°C and 17°C. Days are 2°C warmer than February in Makkah and 4°C warmer in Madinah, so the last fasts of Ramadan are warmer than the first; carry water for after iftar and plan Tawaf for the evening.

How Much Do March Umrah Packages Cost?
The first days of March are the dearest of the year, because they hold the last ten nights of Ramadan and Eid; after Eid, our year-round packages apply again. Our eleven-night last-ten-nights packages cost from £1,585 per adult with four sharing from Manchester, £1,630 from Birmingham and £2,290 from Heathrow on Saudia's direct flight. After Eid, twelve 5 Star nights with all meals start at £1,050 per adult with four sharing.

EID AL-FITR
Can You Spend Eid al-Fitr in Makkah?
Yes. Ask for a return flight after Eid and you can pray the Eid prayer at Masjid al-Haram, one of the largest congregations of the year. Our Heathrow last-ten-nights departure leaves on 27 February and returns on 10 March, around Eid itself; any package can be extended by a night or two so that Eid falls inside your stay. Expect the Haram to be at its fullest on the night before Eid and on the morning of the prayer.

AFTER EID
Can You Do Umrah After Eid in March?
Yes, between Eid and 23 March, as long as you book before the pre-Hajj cut-off and fly home by about 7 April. These are the last quiet weeks before the closure, and year-round prices apply again. A 21-night stay that starts the day after Eid still ends before the departure limit: three weeks on Economy cost from £780 per adult with four sharing, and on 3 Star from £795.

EASTER 2027
Can You Do Umrah Over Easter 2027?
It depends where you live: Easter Sunday is 28 March 2027, five days after the last day to enter, but schools in Wales and Leicester finish on Friday 19 March, so families there can fly out inside the holidays. In many English councils term ends on 25 March, and in Manchester and Glasgow on 2 April, so families there have to leave before the holidays begin; everyone must be home by 7 April. What Does a March Umrah Cost a Family?
On our Birmingham last-ten-nights package, two adults and two children aged 2 to 11 sharing one room pay £5,990 together: £1,630 for each adult and £1,365 for each child. Room sharing sets the adult price: on the Manchester package it is £1,585 with four in a room, £1,705 with three and £1,885 with two. LONGER STAYS
How Long Can a March Umrah Be?
As long as it fits between your arrival and 7 April: a 21-night trip that starts after Eid fits, and so does a month that starts in mid-February and runs through the last ten nights. Shorter trips work too: compare 7 day Umrah prices, Umrah for ten nights and 14 day Umrah prices, or build a personalised Umrah package with more nights in Madinah if you prefer.

FLIGHTS IN MARCH
Which Airlines Fly From the UK to Jeddah or Madinah in March?
Saudia is the only airline flying direct from the UK, to Jeddah, from Heathrow, Gatwick and Manchester, and from Birmingham on selected dates; there is no direct flight to Madinah, and every other UK airport connects through a hub. Other routes connect through the Gulf, Istanbul or Cairo, and your quote names the airline and the baggage allowance. On Saudia, Zamzam water is carried on top of your baggage allowance; other airlines set their own rules, and we tell you the allowance before you pay.

Is March a good time for Umrah?
In 2027 its opening ten days, Ramadan's final nights and then Eid, are the most sought-after of the year; after Eid only a short window is left before the Hajj closure.
What is the last date to enter Saudi Arabia for Umrah in 2027?
23 March 2027. The last day to enter for Umrah is 23 March 2027, and every Umrah pilgrim must leave by 7 April 2027.
Is March a cheap month for Umrah?
No, not the first days: the last ten nights of Ramadan are the dearest dates of the year. January, the first week of February and September cost far less.
How much does a 7 day Umrah cost in March?
A week in the last ten nights is priced for its dates; after Eid, a week returns to year-round prices, from £500 per adult with four sharing on Economy.
Which month is less crowded than March for Umrah?
Almost any other: the last ten nights and Eid draw the year's biggest crowds. The days after Eid are calmer, and so are January and September.
Can I arrive after Eid and stay into April?
Yes, provided you land before the entry limit in late March and are on a flight home in the first week of April.

Can I pay for a March Umrah in instalments?
Yes. £50 per person holds your booking and is part of the price; 50% of the price is due within 24 hours, and the balance 20 days before departure. The balance can be paid in up to two instalments, and a booking made within 20 days of departure is paid in full once the tickets are issued. For our 27 February departure, the balance is due by 7 February.
Are suhoor and iftar included in March packages?
Our Manchester and Birmingham last-ten-nights packages are half board at both hotels; ask us how each hotel serves its meals around the fast.
Does Easter Sunday 2027 fall before the Umrah cut-off?
No. Easter Sunday is 28 March 2027, five days after the last day to enter, 23 March.
